"Until Death Do Us Part" - What Did I Say?!

Marriage is the foundation of our society and Church.  Are catechists and teachers ready to shape children and young adults, i.e. future spouses, into men and women who will understand the words they will one day say at their wedding? Pope Francis reminds us that "the lasting union  expressed  by  the  marriage  vows  is  more than  a  formality  or  a  traditional  formula" (AL #123). This workshop will look at what the questions asked of couples on their wedding day to which they respond "I DO" and look at their spiritual, theological, and anthropological significance. We will primarily use the Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia and the Rite of Marriage.
