Parenting Practices to Combat a "Me First" Culture

Today's culture is hindering children's college and career readiness as well as their ability to develop true friendships and have a happy life. Our children are growing up in a high-pressure, narcissistic world that is conditioning them with the wrong priorities, and doing so 24/7 with certificates, ribbons and trophies during the day and snaps, tweets and "likes" throughout the night. This workshops discuss some key parenting practices that combat these trends utilizing the Gospel and the book "UnSelfie" by Michelle Borba Ed.D. as resources.
